Our mission is to have a positive effect on driver and worker safety through the development, delivery and distribution of effective attitude based training courses.

Spencer McDonald - President and founder of Thinking Driver, has over 25 years
experience in driver training curriculum design and instructor development. Spencer’s formal education is in psychology and motivation and he has brought these fields together with road safety and education to develop the attitude based Thinking Driver programs.
Spencer received recognition in 2008 from Transport Canada and TAC for his advocacy
of road safety, has appeared on national television and radio and is a frequent keynote speaker on the topics of road safety, aggressive driving, road rage and driver training.

Daniel Boyer - Chief Instructor and Truck and Transportation Industry Specialist has 25 years of
experience in enforcement and conducts fleet safety and logbook audits as well as developing and delivering all types of vehicle training. Dan is fluently bilingual (French and English) and has trained police officers in all aspects of driving from basic patrol to high-speed pursuit. Dan was the training officer for the RCMP Lower
Mainland District Traffic Services.

Mike Glas - Senior Instructor. Mike has over 35 years service with the RCMP where he’s instructed numerous courses including Radar, Accident Investigation, Air Brakes, TDG, and Driver Training.

Don Forth - Instructor. Don has over 25 years with the RCMP where he instructed Driver Training, Police Pursuit Driving and VIP Driver Training.

Reid Knutson - Instructor. With over 35 years with the RCMP, Reid brings extensive expertise in Driver Training with the RCMP, Law Enforcement training in New York
and California, and most recently with the Vancouver 2010 Olympics Integrated Security Unit.

Rob Smith - Instructor. Rob has over 30 years with the RCMP where he specialized in security
and safety including the development and implementation of Driver Training.

Joe McKeown - Instructor. A certified driver training instructor, Joe brings with him a wealth of experience in the transportation industry.

|
Pamela Peterson - Client Services. Pam has over 15 years in administration and logistics. She handles student registration, bookkeeping and customer service.
