Spencer McDonald - President and founder of Thinking Driver, has over 25
years experience in driver training curriculum design and instructor
development. Spencer’s formal education is in psychology and motivation
and he has brought these fields together with road safety and education
to develop the attitude based Thinking Driver programs.
Spencer has appeared on national television and radio and is a frequent
keynote speaker on the topics of road safety, aggressive driving, road
rage and driver training.

Daniel Boyer - Chief Instructor and Truck and Transportation Industry
Specialist, has 25 years of experience in enforcement and conducts fleet
safety and logbook audits as well as developing and delivering all types
of vehicle training.
Dan is fluently bilingual (French and English) and has trained police
officers in all aspects of driving from basic patrol to high-speed pursuit. Dan was the training officer for the RCMP Lower Mainland
District Traffic Services.

Mike Glas - Senior Instructor, joined Thinking Driver after 35 years
service with the RCMP where he instructed numerous training courses throughout his police career including Radar, Accident Investigation,
Air Brakes, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Driver Training. With 22 years of traffic law enforcement on various Highway Patrols and
a solid background in HR and management, Mike brings a wealth of experience to classroom and in vehicle training programs. Based at our
head office in Surrey BC, Mike delivers Thinking Driver courses to our
corporate clientele throughout western Canada.

Don Forth - Don joined Thinking Driver after completing 28 years of service with the RCMP. He has 11 years of Traffic Law Enforcement on various highways within the province of B.C. as well as a variety of supervisory experience within the RCMP. Don has 15 years of Driver Training experience that includes 2 years as a driving instructor at the RCMP Training Academy, Regina, Sask. Following that Don continued instructing in various RCMP in-service Driver Training courses including Advanced Driver Training, Police Pursuit Training, and V.I.P. Motorcade Training. In addition he is a licensed Class 2 & 6 driver. Don's classroom and vehicle experience contributes to the success of our Thinking Driver courses, delivered to our corporate clientele in Canada.

Rob Smith - Instructor. Rob has over 30 years with the RCMP where he
specialized in security and safety including the development and implementation of Driver Training.

Sara McDonald – Sara, our US based Account Manager, has 20 years in the school transportation industry. She has trained drivers for school bus and special needs, as well as commercial driver’s license and air brakes, Sara has several years experience operating school busses and has held the position of Assistant Director of Transportation for a Washington school district.

Annette DeCaire - our Training Coordinator, has over 25 years in
administration. Annette manages program logistics, organizations and
implementation.
